All alarms will beep when they have a problem, but you can quickly silense them, usually by pressing any button on the keypad.
Here’s how to silense some of the most common alarm systems…
Bosch Solution alarms:
The [ FAULT ] indicator will be flashing and you’ll hear a long angry beep every 60 seconds.
Press the [ #AWAY ] key (Don’t hold it though or else the alarm will Arm)
Paradox alarms: Press the [ CLEAR ] key. It sometimes helps to read the fault first. The [ TBL ] button should be lit up red indicating there’s a fault. Press [ TBL ] and note the number button that glows. Press [ CLEAR ] and the beeping should stop.
DSC alarms: Press the [ # ] key and the beeping should stop.
Arrowhead alarms: Press [ ENTER ] and the beeping should stop.
